MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
To join, download the PDF Membership Application Form, which gives full
information about membership categories and benefits, and details of our
subscription rates. This contains a membership application form which requires a
signature and should be posted to the Membership Secretary, Wellington Film
Society, P O Box 1584, Wellington 6140, along with a cheque or credit card details
(Visa or Mastercard) - allow two weeks for processing - or brought along to the first
screening you wish to attend - but please be early.

but is overly bloated (and unless you want Chrome and Google Toolbar on your

We also encourage our members to help grow the film society. It is only by
maintaining a strong membership base that we can continue to provide our
screening programme year after year. One incentive we offer to existing members is
a $10.00 discount coupon when next renewing, when they introduce a new full
member. (We used to limit this up to the beginning of the Film Festival - but it now
applies all year round.)
Also, from 2013, we are introducing “Bring-a-Buddy”. For one screening during the
life of their current membership, members will be able to bring along a potential
member (or a friend). There will be a symbol on the corner of the membership card
that will be clipped when the offer is claimed. Although this will be useful for out-of-
town friends passing through, we also hope that it will encourage members to use it
to get new members to join.
We offer a Membership Gift Certificate that you can purchase and give to your
friends and loved ones. These are especially useful for Christmas which falls
between our screening seasons. All you need to do is to post to the Membership
Secretary a cheque (or credit card details - Visa or Mastercard) for the amount of
the membership you are wanting the Gift Certificate for. Don't forget to include your
return address. You will be mailed back a receipt (for you to keep) and the Gift
Certificate. The person redeeming the Certificate will need to complete the
shortened membership form on the reverse and present it at one of our screenings
for their membership card. If the membership is taken out for one of our discounted
memberships (student, senior citizen, etc) they will need to show proof at the time of
